Kameti

Refunds policy

This page is short because of how Kameti works: there is normally nothing to refund.

Last updated: September 2026. Questions? support@kameti.in.

Kameti never holds your money

Kameti charges no fees, takes no commission, and has no wallet or pool account. Every rupee in a circle moves directly from one member to another over UPI or in cash. A refund of a payment between members is therefore a matter between those members — the app can show the record, but the transfer itself never passed through us.

If a member paid the wrong person

If a contribution went to the wrong member by mistake, the members involved should resolve it directly (UPI apps allow reverse requests; for cash, talk to each other). The circle ledger in the app can be corrected to reflect what was actually agreed, and every correction stays visible to the circle.

If a paid feature is ever introduced

Today Kameti is free. If we ever introduce an optional paid feature, this page will be updated before it launches with a clear, time-limited refund promise for that fee — announced in the app and on this page, never applied retroactively to anything you already used for free.

Unused circle positions and early exits

Contributions you have already made to a circle belong to the circle's rotation, not to Kameti. Exiting a circle, or a circle ending early, is handled inside the circle by its members; the app provides the records and organizer tools to settle it fairly.
